Mission Statement
The Philly Bikecab Alliance represents and supports bikecab operators while ensuring the integrity and standardization of the bikecab industry in Philadelphia. To educate and promote bikecabs as a sustainable and eco-friendly transportation option while advocating for a green and bicycle-friendly city.
The PBA functions to provide the following services:
- provide the mechanism for all pedicab companies and drivers to maintain compliance with city regulations
- advocate for the establishment of widespread routes and pedicab oriented infrastructure
- maintain all route lists and monitors any non-licensed drivers operating in Philadelphia
- facilitate special route applications as dictated in Bill NO. 090581-A
- present in cooperation with the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia full training and a certification program to all drivers
- provide customer feedback mechanisms to monitor quality of service
- offer meeting space & support services
